Don't trust PC Optimizers

Today I am going to explain why PC optimizers are a scam. I've seen many people use them, and I think it's time to end it.

Installing drivers 101:
1. Check the support page of your OEM website. Chances are high it's out there.

Alternatively, you can have a driver installation media coming with a part you're trying to acquire a driver for.

2. No luck? Find the hardware ID of the equipment you're trying to install a driver for and manually search for the driver.

Don't know how? Go to Device Manager (devmgmt.msc), find your device without a driver, go to properties and search for a drop-down list. From there, select Hardware ID. To start, copy everything before SUBSYS. Still can't find it? Copy everything, including the SUBSYS part.

3. Still can't find it. Ai-ai-ai. Don't run to install your favorite one-time use PUP just yet. Use Snappy Driver Installer Origin. It's completely free and open-source.
