Harry Bertoia was a printmaker, sculptor and industrial designer. He was born 10 March 1915 in San Lorenzo, Italy and moved to the United States in 1930 after a brief stay in Canada. He studied and worked at the Cranbrook Academy of Art and settled near Bally, Pennsylvania where he died 6 November 1978.
