RISHI Sunak will take centre stage this lunchtime as the new PM faces his first PMQs.
The first meeting of Mr Sunak's new-look cabinet is set to take place this morning, following the shocking reappointment of Suella Braverman as Home Secretary just days after being sacked by Liz Truss for ministerial misconduct.
Following the cabinet meeting, Rishi will take to the House of Commons at 12pm to face questions from the opposition as well as his own party. The newly appointed PM will likely stress unity and professionalism as he eagerly looks to put the Tories back on track.
This comes amid suggestions that the government's October 31st fiscal statement could be delayed, with Foreign Secretary James Cleverly stating that a "short delay" would "not be a bad thing at all."
Delivering his first official speech as Tory leader from outside No.10 yesterday, Mr Sunak stressed the work to "fix" mistakes would "begin immediately" - and promised to graft "day in and day out" to deliver for the public and "earn the trust" of Brits.
