I think I can call this "Best Black Metal of 2016" if we stretch a little and say Cobalt slipped a little out of the genre. This is Experimental psychedelic atmospheric Blackness at it's best. Värähtelijä is accessible, an easy introduction to Black Metal for the uninitiated, and a real journey of a listen. For an album so rife with awesome scope it's is a shame the production compressed it so highly. It clips, yes, but still WOW.
