This documentary film on the Scientology cult was released in 2020, but many have never seen or heard about it. Here lies a rather rare and unique glimpse into the world of 'still-in' Scientologists, those that escaped, 'Indie Scientologists', as well as the harrowing account of Lara Anderson, a woman who left the cult and recounts the abuse she suffered, the “punishment” meted out on her father — for years — in the church’s "rehabilitation project". Not to mention a strange fixation on animals throughout this odd, slow (tedious), and moody film.
