Flora MacNeil, MBE (1928 – 2015) was a traditional Scottish Gaelic singer. She learnt her songs from older female family members when she was a child. When she left the island of Barra, she took her songs with her, and had a long and successful music career beginning in the early stages of the British Folk Revival.
