President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Talk to the People 9/27/2021

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte meets with several Cabinet members in Malacañan Palace and addresses the Filipino people on several issues confronting the nation, as well as the government’s latest actions and programs in responding to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, during his first Talk to the People this week.

President Duterte cites the status of the government’s vaccination drive and the possible immunization of adolescents against COVID-19 starting October.

The Chief Executive encourages his countrymen to get inoculated against the virus with the stable supply of vaccines, as government continuously endeavors to achieve population protection. He particularly reminds government employees to be vaccinated since they are constantly facing people in the performance of public service. Moreover, he asks his ‘kababayans’ to observe minimum public health standards despite receiving the jab.
