India reported 40,134 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. 422 deaths were also reported in the same duration taking the overall toll to 4,24,773. 36,946 people got recovered from the virus in past 24 hours. The active caseload in the country stood at 4,13,718. 47,22,23,639 vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far.
