German death camp in Sobibor, Poland, killed two hundred fifty thousand Jews. It had the most successful prisoner escape in World War II on October 14, 1943.
This was a TV movie which won two Golden Globes; Best Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television for Rutger Hauer's performance.
