Those involved in Voter ID scam will be brought to the books: CM Basavaraj Bommai

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai offered garlands at the statue of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on the occasion of Constitution Day in Bengaluru on November 26. Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri was also present with the Chief Minister. After offering flowers to the statue of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the Chief Minister interacted with the media and talked about the Voter ID scam issue in the state.

Election Commission is investigating the Voter ID scam issue where the officials of the Election Commission have been accused of involving in electoral fraud and manipulation in the voters list. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said, “I have made my stand clear that fair and free investigation will be done in the case and any official or any person involved in this case will be brought down to the books.”
