Bryant Moreland (AKA EDP445) is a 30 year old former YouTuber who at his peak had over 2.2 million subscribers and 600K+ followers on Instagram. He was popular in the NFL commentary community, made several national television appearances and was featured in countless meme compilations.
In April 2021, #EDP445 was caught in a Bakersfield, CA sting setup by two "predator catching" organizations (#CC Unit and #Predator Poachers). Moreland had allegedly been chatting with a decoy he believed to be a 13 year old female and the two had agreed to meet at her apartment after a sexually charged conversation. Instead of a teenage temptress, EDP445 was met by Ghost and Chet Goldstein, leading to his swift demise as an Influencer and entertainer.
Within days of the confrontation both EDP445 and Chet Goldstein would have their channels banned by YouTube, troubling videos would emerge featuring Goldstein, the police would take no action against Moreland (despite a damning chatlog and EDPs own admissions during the confrontation) and questions would arise about the need and legality of online predator hunters. Moreland has since tried launching a paid website, backtracked on his own admissions and threatened to file restraining orders against YouTube creators reporting on his story.
