10-bed Covid NICU facility set up in Kanpur’s medical college

As the country is reeling under a second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, children too are exposed to the deadly virus. A 10-bed NICU facility was set up in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur after several children tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the city. The NICU has 24x7 oxygen supply and proactive hospital staff. Another facility for children above 3 months has also been set up. So far, 23-24 children have recovered from this facility.
