Rihana TRAORE is a chartered accountant in the United States. In 2017, she created Diman-ni Organics, a company specialised in the marketing and distribution of processed agricultural products from Burkina Faso to international markets.
According to Rihana, one of the main reasons why Burkinabè products are not available on the international market is because of its poor packaging. The product can be of good quality, but if it is not well-presented, people will not want to buy it. This is why she created Diman-ni Organics. To package local products well so that they are sold better on the local and international markets.
“Many have not understood that entrepreneurship requires partners. We cannot excel everywhere,” says Rihana.
