"Modern" Boomer Shooters!

90's style "Boomer Shooters" are very popular these days, especially in the burgeoning indie game scene. In this video we take a look at 60 of them.

Boomer shooters tend to focus more on moment-to-moment intense action (with little emphasis on narrative), usually overwhelming the player with hordes of monsters - but fortunately also providing the player with enough weapons to deal with them. Most boomer shooters also tend to make use of 90s style aesthetics which give them a visually appealing low-fi hook (which, as a side bonus, allows them to run well on low-spec hardware). And of course, they tend to be a bit on the silly side, with a large emphasis on humor...
