"Resurrection" is emotional and melodic track with a cosmic melody that takes the imagination into space. The track was released in 2001 on Perfecto Records (label of Paul Oakenfold, then the best DJ in the world), the track took the third place in the British hit parade (singles chart) in December 2001, the track was repeatedly included in various lists of the hundred best trance tracks of all times, as well as played by the best trance DJs in the world at various major world festivals. The track was at the top of the chart of the then popular mp3.com. The clip for the track was repeatedly broadcasted on MTV and other music channels. Thanks to this track PPK became the first Russian project to become popular in the West, and also raised Russian trance music to a whole new level, setting a high bar of quality. The track itself was written in spring 1999 by Alexander Polyakov (PPK). Later the voices of real cosmonauts were added. The clip was made by videographer and 3D designer Nik3D.

The trance-style instrumental electronic composition was the first music from Russia or the USSR to enter the official UK Singles Chart[7] and received a certified Silver Disc British Phonographic Industry (BPI) award for selling over 200,000 copies in the first week alone. The track also reached the top of the Flanders top ten, the top ten most popular tracks in the Republic of Ireland, the hit parades of the Netherlands, Australia, Finland, Greece, and the Wallonia chart. In the US, the song reached number 26 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. In 2021, the track was listed as one of the most important trance songs of all time in the "Trance Top 1000".[8] Ranking, according to Armin Van Buuren and his radio show A State of Trance, at number 70.
