Tomb Raider (1996) Level 15: The Great Pyramid, in the Croft Engine, 4k, HD Textures

Forging ahead through the fleshy, writhing walls, rattling with the heartbeat of the living organism that is Atlantis, and even felling a skinless doppelganger birthed by the squelching womb to destroy our heroine, Lara arrives at the heart of the island inside a Great Pyramid. Natla has placed the completed Scion in some ancient Atlantean device, causing the buried structure to cast off aeons of debris, and it's ancient contraptions to return to life after a millennia of silence. Humming with life once more, the Great Pyramid begins its miraculous purpose: the creation of new, bioweapon life forms. As Lara places her hand on the Scion to remove it from its pedestal, she is flooded with a vision from the distant past before the fall of Atlantis, wherein she will make a shocking discovery about the third, heretic ruler, and will come face to face with a new life form that threatens to change the course of human evolution forever! Let us see this adventure to a close in the final level of the masterpiece that is, Tomb Raider! (Apologies for the long-winded commentary)
