Gaming in the 80s and 90s

What made Gaming during the 80s and 90s so magical? Why we still can't stop playing our favorites from Nintendo, Sega, Capcom and Konami. Getting nostalgic over old game cartridges, print magazines and classic arcades. Yes, the video games were incredible, with the birth of nearly every popular franchise like Contra, Castlevania, Zelda, Mario, Mega Man, Sonic and many more. We watched gaming evolve into 3D with Sony's Playstation and the Sega Saturn. And we continue to play retro games today in the style of our old favorites... the very best games reimagined. But the games are only part of the story.

Think about what else you loved about growing up during the 1980s and 90s. The movies that fueled your imagination. Famous comic arcs, iconic morning cartoons, dungeons and dragons on weekends. So much was exciting. It wasn't just about the games, the movies, the culture, or any one thing. It was an era to remember!
