Differences between System Software and Application Software

By the end of the video, students will be able to
1. Define system software;
2. Discuss the examples of the system software, namely Operating Systems, Programming Language Translators, Device Drivers, BIOS, and Utility Drivers;
3. Describe application software;
4. Identify the examples of general-purpose application software and specific-purpose application software; and
5. Compare and contrast system software and application software.
