If you are not a fan of the way Windows searches for files or indexes your computer, then you might want to try the free Everything search tool to get your results faster and more accurately. The Everything app has advanced search and filtering features as well as a way to save search history as well as create search bookmarks. You can also setup an ETP/FTP server or perform your searches via a web browser with the HTTP server.
You can download the Everything program here. You will most likely want to use the 64 bit installer.
